Download Inchgrove

Version 1.0.0. The same collection wherever you open it. There's nothing to sign up for, and the app works with no connection.

Once it's installed, the getting started guide covers bringing in a collection you already keep, setting your hardiness zone, and backups.

What it costs

The Android package and the Windows and Linux builds on this page are all free. There's no cap on how many trees, pots, jobs or photos you keep, and nothing to buy.

Versions for Google Play and the Microsoft Store are planned but not out yet. They'll be the same app: free, with no cap and nothing to unlock. If you'd like to support it, you can leave a tip, through Google Play in that version and on Ko-fi from the others. A tip buys nothing.

Printing and scanning

Label sheets and reports print from the desktop app, and printed labels get scanned with the camera on the phone app. Your collection needs cloud sync or an exported backup to stay in step between the two devices.

Both save as PDFs. Reports lay out for A4 or US Letter, whichever you set in the app. Label sheets come in A4 and US Letter presets, and each prints on the paper its die-cut stock is made for. Print a label sheet at full size rather than fit-to-page, because the labels only line up at exactly 1:1.

Installing on Android

If this is a fresh install, just download the package and open it. Android will ask permission to install from your browser or file manager the first time, and may warn you about installing outside the Play Store. That warning is normal for any app distributed this way.

If you want to be sure the file arrived intact, check it against the checksum published with each release.

Updates work a little differently here. Small ones arrive on their own, but anything bigger needs a fresh package from this page, because the app can't install one for you. It tells you when a new version is out and links to the releases page to get it.

Notes

Desktop builds are published on GitHub rather than served from this site, so your download comes straight from GitHub's network. The desktop app won't update itself. Check back here, or watch the releases page, for anything newer.
